Abstract

The practicality and mature technology of the smart cloud have promoted the development of cloud computing, making cloud infrastructure an important platform for processing data. Then searchable encryption technology was proposed to realize ciphertext retrieval and improve data retrieval efficiency. Widespread utilization of the cloud is hindered by security and efficiency, especially in the background of the massive datasets and frequent operations. In response to the above problems, we propose a verifiable and lightweight searchable encryption (VL-SE) scheme with a two-level index structure. This structure helps improve the efficiency of data retrieval, and the special pointers inserted into the structure ensure the security of the information. We also introduce a multi-set hash function to guarantee the correctness of the information. Moreover, the local state is set to effectively decrease the storage cost of the client and helps achieve forward and backward security. We conduct an experiment and present the security analysis to prove that our VL-SE scheme can process intelligent data safely and efficiently.
